Barasat (WB), May 08: Ten persons were injured in a clash between supporters of the Nationalist Trinamool Congress and CPI (M) at Kachrapara in West Bengal's North 24-Parganas district today. The NTC activists took out an election procession through a CPI(M)-dominated area where Marxist supporters staged a protest leading to the pre-poll clash, police said.
The NTC claimed that all of the injured belonged to their party which also included their candidate for the Barrackpore parliamentary seat Arjun Singh who is also the Bhatpara MLA.
