Kardashian, 35, is extremely supportive of 31-year-old Disick's efforts to improve his health, reported People magazine.

"He's is doing well. I think the thing that's most important to me is just his commitment to working on himself. If somebody doesn't want to make changes then that's really hard."

Disick checked into a Costa Rican rehab facility last week, saying in a statement, "I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle."

Kardashian admits that there have been challenges with Disick and his highly publicised hard-partying ways, but there have been a lot of great moments over their nine-year relationship, and this commitment to remedy his struggle is one of them.

"He is learning so much about himself and growing, and so that's really amazing to see. When he's working on himself it only betters our relationship."

For his rehab, Disick is taking part in a lot of alternative therapy, which includes natural, plant-based methods of rehabilitation. The reality star will participate in iboga treatment, which uses a special African plant to cure addiction, according to the statement.
