New Delhi, Feb 05: Delhi High Court today issued bailable warrant against veteran Congress leader H K L Bhagat in a 1984 anti-Sikh riot case.
Justice K S Sodhi, admitting a petition filed by one Darshan Kaur challenging Bhagat's acquittal, issued the warrant returnable on July 19.
Bhagat was acquitted by the trial court on December 23, 2000 due to alleged lack of evidence.
The state has not preferred to file an appeal in the case relating to murder of Darshan Kaur's husband Ram Singh in East Colony of Trilokpuri in November 1984. Bureau Report
