New Delhi, April 29: Delhi Police today gunned down two former Punjab militants associated with "Khalistan Commando Force" in an encounter in a North Delhi area, a senior police official said. Jagtar Singh Jagga of Punjab and Parminder Singh Ranga of Rajasthan were killed in the encounter with crime branch sleuths at around 4.30 am in Timarpur, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Dependra Pathak told news agencies.

The duo were associated with KCF and were involved in terrorist activities in Punjab earlier, he said, adding that they were at present carrying kidnappings for ransom.

Jagga and Ranga had last month kidnapped a businessman from Sonepat in Haryana, Pathak said.
