Chandigarh, July 06: As part of the investigation of corruption charges against former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, the State Vigilance Bureau today video filmed and photographed the house of his son and Rajya Sabha member Sukhbir Singh Badal in the city. The videography and photography of the "costly fittings an fixtures" at Sukhbir Badal's house was necessary in order to bring transparency in the already conducted search, vigilance bureau sources said here.

The exercise by the vigilance team was being held after a court in Kharar on Friday last allowed the VB to photograph and video film the house of former chief minister's son in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The vigilance bureau sources claim that fittings worth Rs 2.5 crore, including German woodwork, Italian marble and gold plated door handles, were found in the house during the search conducted by the bureau on June 29.
