New Delhi, Sept 12: Despite earnest plea by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Congress today indicated that it was in no hurry to take a decision with regard to participation in the Samajwadi Party-led coalition government in the state. "The decision is that congress is not going to participate in the ministry. Our earlier stand to support it from outside remains", party spokesman S Jaipal Reddy told reporters when asked about Congress' decision. Reddy said he was not aware about Yadav's remarks about the formation of a front at the national level but was merely repeating the stand taken by the party to support the SP-led government only from the outside. When Yadav had called on Congress chief here two days back and requested her to reconsider party's decision with regard to participation in the government, Sonia Gandhi referred the congress working committee's decision to support the coalition only from the outside.
Top level party sources said there won't be any CWC in the next four to five days (till September 17) as Gandhi would be away from Delhi.

Gandhi, it understood to have told Yadav that she would discuss his request with senior party leaders but had suggested drawing of a Common Minimum Programme and constitution of a coordination committee in line with Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir to smoothly run the coalition. Bureau Report
