New Delhi, Nov 26: The Delhi High Court today gave a week's time to the prosecution to clarify stand on securing the presence of a witness from Nepal in the model Jessica Lal murder case while hearing application of prime accused Manu Sharma for extension of his interim bail.
Stating that the prosecution was taking "so much time" in securing the presence of witness Dinesh Kumar from Nepal, Justice M A Khan told special prosecutor S K Saxena that a report about the steps taken by it be filed by December two.
Manu, son of Chandigharh-based former Union Minister Vinod Sharma, has filed an application for extension of his interim bail, which is expiring on december two.
The court said further hearing on his application would take place on December two after prosecution's reply.

He had during the previous hearing informed the court that Nepal had told the Indian government that there was no provision in its law to serve summons on its citizens, issued by a foreign court.

The prosecutor also said that the trial court has already examined 91 of the 131 witnesses cited in the case, while 10 have been dropped by the police.
