Two months after the attack on Jammu and Kashmir Assembly which killed 38 people, militants on Wednesday set off a powerful grenade blast outside its main gate in the high-security area injuring ten people, including seven policemen. Militants first threw a grenade at a police party at the Jehangir Chowk, near the main gate of the assembly, at 4.35 pm which failed to explode, official sources said in Srinagar. Policemen immediately cleared and cordoned off the area and while they were removing the explosive, militants struck again lobbing another powerful grenade which exploded injuring ten people, they said.
