Lucknow, June 10: Calling Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as the "mukhota" (mask) of RSS, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today said Vajpayee and his deputy L K Advani were out to destroy democratic norms by allowing a minority government to continue in Uttar Pradesh. "Mayawati-led government has been reduced to a minority after withdrawal of support by the 14-member Rashtriya Lok Dal but still the government is continuing with the blessings of the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister," Singh told the party workers here.

The state and Central governments have chalked out a strategy to "finish" Samajwadi Party, he alleged, adding "the Prime Minister is supporting a minority government in UP because goondas are thriving in this corrupt regime".
"There is jungle raj in UP. The RLD legislators are scared that they can be eliminated for withdrawing support to the government. Therefore they are staying away from Uttar Pradesh," Yadav said.

"Democracy in the state is in perils because BJP is following the footsteps of Hitler," he alleged, calling his party workers to "dislodge the Mayawati government".

On poetess Madhumita Shukla murder case, Yadav, without naming anyone, alleged "a cabinet rank minister is also involved in the case. But the CB-CID has so far not quizzed that minister".

He said the CB-CID and the chief minister's office were "pulling strings" to save a former minister. "According to my information, CB-CID is reporting to cm's office on day-to-day basis about progress in investigations," Yadav said.
The Samawadi Party would chalk out its future agitational plan after June 21, Yadav said.
