New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's trouble refuse to die down. Latest reports suggest that Maharashtra government will now look into the matter of Dutt's furlough been granted. The 55-year-old actor was released on December 25, 2014 after his leave application was accepted by the authorities. MoS for Home Ram Shinde said that government has ordered probe into the grant of repeated furloughs to the actor.

Soon after he was spotted in Mumbai, the actor was quoted as saying that availing a furlough is every prisoner's right and we must get it. He added that we get it every year, so therefore I availed it. He said that since it's Christmas time, he was looking forward to be with his family and spend the festival time with them.


The actor, who is serving the remaining 42 months of his prison term in connection with the illegal possession of arms in 1993 Mumbai blasts, has been out on parole on several occasions. Due to frequent parole applications earlier, the Bollywood actor had even sparked a controversy, where the authorities were questioned over granting him leave.
