Hyderabad, May 22: Sirpur paper mills Ltd has registered a 44 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 17.92 crore during the year ended march 31, 2004, as compared to Rs 12.47 crore in the previous year.
The board has, for the first time, declared a 50 per cent dividend, SPM chairman Ranjan Kumar Poddar told newspersons here last night. The Adilabad district-based company would invest Rs 300 crore to raise the annual production from 83,550 Mt to 1,33,550 Mt, which would be completed by June 2006, Poddar added.
