Orlando, Jan 01: Antoine Walker matched a season-high with 33 points and added 11 rebounds to lead the Celtics to a 96-89 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Walker had been bothered by the flu and scored just nine points in Boston's 101-95 loss at Orlando on Saturday. But he showed no ill effects on Tuesday, using his quickness to drive around forwards Pau Gasol and Shane Battier most of the day. The two-time All-Star did most of his damage in the third quarter, scoring 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Walter McCarty also provided a major lift off the bench, taking advantage of his increased playing time with 16 points and eight rebounds, for Boston. McCarty played 34 minutes, 12 more than his average, because center Tony Battie missed the game with a right knee injury and hit 6-of-7 shots from the field, including all four of his 3-point attempts. Gasol had 18 points and Gordon Giricek added 17 for the Grizzlies, who lost for the 13th time in 14 road games.
