Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Saturday spoke to President K R Narayanan on telephone and briefed him about the overall security scenario in the wake of the heightened Indo-Pak tension.
Vajpayee, who is here in this hill resort of Himachal Pradesh on a short sojourn, informed the president about his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir earlier this week and deliberations he had at a meeting of the Unified Command in Srinagar, official sources said.
