Jaipur, Nov 25; Charging the Congress of leveling "baseless" allegations of corruption against Union Ministers had become a habit with the Congress to hold the Centre responsible for every problem.
Addressing a series of election meetings in Tonk, Dausa
and Jaipur districts, Advani said the problem with Congress is
that it feels uncomfortable when out of power despite the fact
that the country remained backward during half a century of
its rule.
"It has become a habit of the Congress to hold the
central government responsible for everything. It is holding
the Centre responsible for even massacre of innocent people in
Assam which is not correct," he said.
Even after the CVC described the allegations Congress made against six union ministers as baseless, the party was persisting with its charges, he rued.
Listing the achievements of the Vajpayee government Advani said it had provided much needed political stability which was missing in the last decade.
Calling upon the people to vote for BJP in Rajasthan, he promised that if returned to power Vasundhara Raje led government would pull the desert state out of its backward status and place it among states high on development ladder.
