Kanpur, Dec 24: Teachers from Afghanistan would be provided training at schools of Delhi Public School society, its chairman Narendra Kumar said here today. They would be trained in batches of 25 at the DPS schools in Delhi, he told reporters here.

This follows a request from the external affairs ministry in this regard, he said.

Kumar said the society plans to open a school in Kabul next year.

Three DPS schools will also come up in the United States, he said adding that the society was at present running 112 schools, 92 in the country and the rest abroad.

He said the society had plans to start satellite based education system in its institutions. Bureau Report
