Jammu, July 14: In a major breakthrough, security forces last night shot dead the third terrorist involved in the suicide attack on Sunjiwan Army Camp that killed 12 soldiers and injuring seven on June 28, official sources said here today. After continous search operations in the entire Shavalik forest range in outskirts of Jammu, who cordoned a group of militant and asked them to surrender, the sources said and asked them to surrender, the sources said.

However, militants fired on the security forces, who retaliated and in the ensuing encounter one ultra involved in the Sunjivan Army Camp attack was killed on the spot at Tutanwali Khoi, seven kms from here. One AK rifle, 70 rounds and four grenades were recovered from the killed militant.

The sources said the ultra identified as Jamil Khan from Pakistan was said to be a member of Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit.
