Madrid, Mar 06: India take on Pakistan in the Olympic hockey qualifiers in Madrid today. And India needs to be careful about conceding penalty corners and letting Pakistani ace shooter Sohail Abbas have his way.
"Sohail's penalty corner specialization is something great. He is one of the best drag-flickers in the world so a lot will depend on how our defence does and how well Devesh Chauhan does as the goalkeeper," said Ashok Kumar, former Indian hockey captain.

India has been struggling to find a replacement for Jugraj Singh, after his accident.

Sohail has already converted two of the five penalty corner's in the Olympic qualifiers so far, whereas India's Len Aiyappa and Dilip Tirkey have a far poorer conversion rate.

In fact Pakistan's Kashis Jawad has a 100 per cent conversion rate. Bureau Report
