Oct, 05: Seattle's OneWorld earned their third consecutive win in America's Cup challenger racing when they beat Britain's GBR Challenge Saturday by 3 minutes, 22 seconds. OneWorld safely negotiated a day of moderate to high winds on which other teams lost unbeaten records and which was packed with protests and breakages.
The Seattle syndicate would be clearly at the top of challenger standings after three rounds of races but for the one point penalty they were forced to carry into the series for a rules infraction before competition began.
Their British challengers picked up a penalty when their bow clipped the transom of OneWorld during pre-start manoeuvring.
