Straw wishes Sinha ahead of Saarc summit
New Delhi, Dec 31: British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw today conveyed his best wishes to External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha on the eve of his departure for the Saarc summit in Islamabad.

Minister Yashwant Sinha on the eve of his departure for the
Saarc summit in Islamabad.
In his telephonic conversation, straw expressed his
appreciation for Sinha's efforts in carrying forward Prime
Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's peace initiative with
Pakistan, external affairs ministry spokesman said.
Sinha will leave for Islamabad tomorrow for the two-day meeting of Saarc foreign ministers from January two.
The spokesman said Straw-Sinha discussions focussed on regional and international issues including, Afghanistan and Iraq.
