New Delhi, Dec 04: An agitated Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Najma Heptulla today pulled up Congress member Janardhan Poojari for repeatedly questioning the Chair's ruling and said she would bring the matter before the House committee. "I will bring you before the committee," Heptulla told Poojari as the member continued to question her ruling for not allowing Congress member Subbirami Reddy to ask another supplementary. On Tuesday when Poojary tried to show the rule book questioning the ruling of the Chair, Heptulla had asked the member to take his seat.

Poojari tried to the raise the matter again saying "Madam, you had yesterday..." Before Heptulla asked him to sit down. "No", said the member. As he refused to relent, Heptulla drew the attention of the opposition leader in the House Manmohan Singh.
"The member has been doing this often," she told Singh while asking him to talk to Poojari.
When Poojari refused to budge, Heptulla said "you are not behaving properly in the house and not even listening to the opposition leader." "If you do not behave properly in the house, I will ask you to leave the House," she said.
When Poojari again started quoting the rules, an annoyed Heptulla said "I know rules more than you".
Stating that Poojari was bringing "shame" to the House due to his behaviour, she said she will bring him before the committee.
