The Association of Medical Doctors of Asia(AMDA), a volunteer group of Asian medical workers, has said they will dispatch doctors to Pakistan on Thursday to treat afghan refugees injured by the US-led retaliatory operations launched in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.` AMDA officials said they plan to send a team of five doctors to Pakistan to provide treatment to afghan refugees affected by the retaliatory actions.
The officials said they were concerned their plan could be hampered by the likely confusion in Pakistan in the wake of the retaliation. Bureau Report
