Gandhinagar, Aug 18: Curfew restrictions were today relaxed for four hours in Dhoraji town of Rajkot district which witnessed group clashes between two different communities yesterday. Indefinite curfew was imposed in Dhoraji following the group clashes, which left at least eight persons injured, according to police sources here.
The trouble started over the issue of parking of an autorikshaw in front of shops in Nadi bazaar locality in the town.
Soda bottles and stones were freely used by the clashing groups forcing the authorities to clamp indefinite curfew in the town from 2.30 pm yesterday to stop the violence from spreading, they added. Bureau Report
