Jaipur, Mar 08: Rajasthan BJP chief Vasundhara Raje today urged all political parties "to rise above their parochial outlook" and support Women's Reservation Bill, likely to be presented during the current Parliament session. "It would be most appropriate that all political parties decide in support of the bill on the women's day today," she said.
"If we want to give a clean, good and well governed society to the next generation we shall have to provide full rights to women in governance, society and jobs," Raje said in a statement here.
"All political parties should rise above their parochial outlook and support the bill being proposed by the government," she said. Raje asked the Rajasthan government to give adequate representation in the academic field to women by appointing them as vice-chancellors of universities and members of public service commission.
