Montreal, Dec 21: Australia's Danny Greeen and Canada's Eric Lucas weigh-in ahead of their super middleweight title fight on Saturday (December 20). Eric Lucas of Montreal will face Danny Green of Australia on Saturday (December 20) at the Bell Centre in Montreal for the interim World Boxing Council super-middleweight title. The winner of the bout must face reigning champion Markus Beyer on February 28 in Germany. Green who weighed in at 167.5 pounds (75 kilogrammes) was feeling confident and not at all concerned about his self proclaimed underdog status. "He's a very confident well-schooled fighter. He's got the heart of a lion and the head of a rhino. He's very stubborn, strong and so am I mate so its going to be a war of attrition. we'll see who wants it the most. I know he's going to want it big time in his own country... His hometown. his backyard..you now there's going to be big time pressure on him. I'm the underdog. I'm going in as the underdog and that suits me fine." Lucas (36-5-3) said, "It should be a good fight. "I know that people in Montreal like a brawl, lots of action, and that's how it should be."

Montreal-born Lucas, 32, who lost the title to Beyer (28-1-0) in a controversial split decision in May, was to have fought a rematch with Beyer on Saturday (December 20) in Riesa, Germany, but the German postponed the bout due to an eye injury.

Green also lost to Beyer on August 16 in Germany on a fifth-round disqualification from an intentional head butt.
