Srinagar, Jan 08: Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen militant was killed in an eight hour long encounter with army personnel in Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours today, official sources said here. The militant identified as Abu Talha, a self-styled district commander of the pro-Pakistan militant outfit of Baramulla and Badgam, was killed around 0100 hours at Gondipora, they said. The house in which he was hiding was razed to ground by the army personnel during the encounter, the sources said. One AK rifle, five magazines and one grenade were recovered from the militant, they added. Bureau Report
