A fire, suspected to have erupted following explosions trigerred by land mines along the Zero-line on the Pakistan side late on Thursday night destroyed crops over 500 acres. But no casualty has been reported.
"The blaze blew several land mines on the Indian side and then spreading to the village", an eyewitness said.
Residents of Bachhwind and Mulakot village said their stock of wheat was gutted in the firing from across the border. Talking to reporters, affected villagers said the crop loss was in around 500 acres.

Pakistan villages from where the fire originated are Dhati-Kheda, Bhareen, Bisma and Bahsin.
