Bahrain, Apr 03: Jenson Button has set the fastest time in practice ahead of Saturday's qualifying at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The BAR driver did a lap of one minute 29.552 seconds to be just 0.138secs clear of Williams' Ralf Schumacher.
Juan Pablo Montoya was third fastest, 0.006secs behind Schumacher and ahead of Japanese Takuma Sato, who made it two BAR drivers in the top four. Ferrari's Michael Schumacher was fifth quickest, ahead of Renault's Jarno Trulli and Toyota's Cristiano da Matta.

Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello, Renault driver Fernando Alonso and Da Matta's team-mate Olivier Panis rounded out the top 10. The struggling McLaren team had another disastrous time.
David Coulthard spun off the track in the first session and did not go out in the second, while Kimi Raikkonen, who will be demoted 10 places on the grid after qualifying, was 11th fastest. Button was fastest in both Saturday morning sessions, but leapt to the top of the lists in the second session right at the end.
Until then, Williams drivers Schumacher and Montoya had been comfortably quickest - the German's time is more than 0.5secs ahead of Sato's.
