Nablus (West Bank), Dec 21: The Israeli Army arrested a senior political figure in the hardline Palestinian Islamic group Hamas in the West Bank town of Nablus today, Hamas and Palestinian security sources said. Adnan Asfour, 40, on Israel's wanted list for two years, was arrested at his father's home in the al-Massya district.
He put up no resistance to the arrest, the sources said. Bureau Report
