Orlando, Jan 16: While the rest of the PGA Tour 2002 winners were halfway across the world tearing up the Plantation Course at the season-opening Mercedes Championships, Tiger Woods was at the practice range in Orlando hitting some wedge shots and teaching girlfriend Elin Nordegren a thing or two about golf.

Woods, rehabbing a knee injury that will keep him off the tour until at least February, was spotted by the Orlando Sentinel at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club working on his game -- and having some fun.
Woods was wearing shorts and didn't have any wrapping on his surgically repaired knee, the Sentinel reported. He was on the club's practice range hitting a few easy wedge shots and giving Nordegren, a beginner, a golf lesson.
Woods told the Sentinel he watched part of last week's Mercedes Championships, and was surprised that the scores were so low. Ernie Els won the event at 31-under, the lowest 72-hole score in relation to par in PGA Tour history.
Woods is also making another attempt at growing a goatee.
