Four Armymen injured in landmine blast in Anantnag
Srinagar, June 12: Four Army personnel were injured in a landmine explosion caused by militants in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said.
Srinagar, June 12: Four Army personnel were injured in a landmine explosion caused by militants in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said.
Militants set off the landmine, planted on the road, when an Army vehicle ran over it at Wangam village in Kokernag area around 4.30 pm, the sources said here.
They said the vehicle was damaged in the explosion injuring four jawans travelling in it.
Army troops from a nearby camp immediately rushed to the scene and cordoned off the entire area to apprehend the militants who carried out the blast, the sources said.
