Islamabad, Feb 21: Kashmir, peace and security and confidence building measures will be the top issues sequentially discussed by Pakistan and India when they next meet in May, spokesman of the Pakistan Foreign Office, Masood Khan has said. Khan was quoted as saying that "If you see the sequence of this dialogue, it is Kashmir, peace and security which will be discussed first of all." He also said that President Pervez Musharraf had never deviated from his stand, nor had the Pakistan government. "When the president met Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee here in Islamabad last month, the basic issue was Kashmir," he said. "If you read the statement of the president attentively or if you go through the statements of the Pakistan government, you will find that no change has taken place in their stand," Khan said. "When the Kashmir issue comes under discussion, all these aspects, including the construction of fence will come up for discussion," he said. Bureau Report
