Lakhs take holy dip in Hardwar on Makar Sankranti
Dehradun , Jan 14: More than three lakh people today took holy dip at Ganga in Hardwar and other religious rivers in Uttaranchal on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Nearly two lakh people took holy dip at Har-Ki-Pauri, the
main bathing Centre in Hardwar, senior Superintendent of
Police Ashok Kumar said.
Amid chanting of Vedic Hymns, Sadhus also joined people in the holy ritual. Thousands of people also visited famous Mansadevi temple in the holy city on the occasion.
