Los Angeles: Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan's blockbuster film franchise 'Rush Hour' is heading to the small screen.

Bosses at Warner Bros Television have recruited 'Scrubs' creator Bill Lawrence and Mad Men producer Blake McCormick to adapt the action films for television, according a weekly.


The series will follow the style of the movies and feature the adventures of a Hong Kong police officer who is assigned to be the partner of a cocky cop in Los Angeles.


Original Rush Hour director 'Brett Ratner' is also serving as an executive producer for the TV adaptation.
