Washington: Idris Elba starrer thriller 'No Good Deed' surpassed 'Dolphin Tale 2' with 24.5 million dollars at the weekend box office.

According to reports, 'Dolphin Tale 2', from Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros., came in on the low end of expectations, grossing 16.6 million dollars, followed by 'Guardians of the Galaxy' with 8 million dollars.


Paramount and Nickelodeon Movies' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also celebrated a milestone as it crossed the 300 million dollar mark worldwide, including a domestic total of 181 million dollars through Sunday.
