Mumbai: Ajay Devgn unveiled the trailer of his upcoming flick – Shivaay – one of the most anticipated films of the year. Slated to release this Diwali, ‘Shivaay’ is expected to clash with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma at the Box Office. But Ajay Devgn fans are least perturbed. They know they have a thrilling dhamaka in store.

Ajay Devgn


Ajay Devgn is an intense actor who has had the honour of bagging two National awards for his performances as an actor. The ‘Omkara’ of Bollywood has proved time and again that he is a versatile actor and can pull of any kind of role in style. But action is certainly his forte. In the recent past, we have seen Ajay playing a common man with an exceptional presence of mind in ‘Drishyam’. He played a cameo in ‘Fitoor’ earlier this year but ‘Shivaay’ will be his first full-fledged film after ‘Drishyam’ which left us spellbound last year.


Ajay Devgn’s directorial


Ajay had made his debut as a director with his home prodiction – ‘U Me Aur Hum’ in 2008. ‘Shivaay’ is his second directorial venture and is his most ambitious project till date. The trailer of the film is intriguing and we are sure he has something really enticing this time.

Sayyeshaa Saigal


Sayyeshaa – the grandniece of legendary couple Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu – will make her debut with the Ajay Devgn film. It will be interesting to see her performance on the big screen.


The star cast


Besides Sayyeshaa, the film introduces tow new artistes to Bollywood - Erika Kaar and Abigail Eames. The two of them seem to have very important roles to play in the film. And we can’t wait to watch them. The film also stars power house of talent - Vir Das, Girish Karnad and Saurabh Shukla.



Breathtaking stunts and visuals


Ajay took a while to zero in on the location for the film as he was looking for an extreme cold place to shoot the film. Bulgaria turned out to be the ultimate destination to carry out ‘Shivaay’ shoot. The trailer has given us glimpses aplenty of the breathtaking stunts and action sequences besides umpteen stunning visuals.
