Shimla, Feb 03: The Congress today released a list of 15 properties allegedly owned by the Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal charging that their market value was much more than the declared value.

Releasing the list, party spokesman Anand Sharma said here that it was difficult to understand that a person like Dhumal who was a humble RSS worker who served in LIC and later took the job of a lecturer in a college in Jalandhar could acquire such "huge assets" within a few years.
He said that BJP had declared that its MLAs would declare their assets within 90 days after the elections but they backed out of the poll promise and did not declare the assets even after five years. Dhumal was not available for comment as he was away campaigning.
