New Delhi, Dec 26: The Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, had an unusual birthday gift from his party. The gift in the form of screen savers having pictures of Mr. Vajpayee and his poems in his voice will come more handy for computer users than the PM himself. The party chose the special occasion — his 79th birthday — for the launch of the screen savers. Incidentally, these screen savers have been conceptualised by the BJP spokesperson, Prakash Javadekar, and jointly developed by M/s. IL Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Thane and M/s Value Labs, Hyderabad.
These screen savers have been hosted at the party website www.BJP.ORG. The party expects at least one million people to download them on their computers in the next two months.
The first Screen Saver titled Atalji-1 comes up with stanzas of three different poems authored by him. Next Screen Saver — Atalji-2 — has the poem titled "Swatantrata." The 3rd and 4th Screen Savers contain his poems titled "Kadam Milake Chale" and "Chamka Hindustan" while the fifth one has his oft-recited favourite poem "Geet Naya Gata Hoon."
