Ahmedabad, Sept 07: The Lok Jan Shakti Party has threatened to block BJP's ‘Gujarat gaurav yatra,’ scheduled to begin from Kheda district's Phagvel village tomorrow.
Ravi Ojha, general secretary of the party founded by Ram Vilas Paswan, told a news agency here today that they were planning to squat on the roads to block the ‘gaurav rathyatra’ vehicle when it enters Himmatnagar and Vijapur in north Gujarat.
Meanwhile, the Lok Jan Shakti Party organised a dharna near Lal Darwaja area to protest BJP rule in Gujarat and demanded that BJP cancel its yatra immediately. Speaking at the dharna, Mukesh Gurjar, party unit chief in the state, alleged during BJP's rule, progress has come to a standstill, unemployment has risen and communalism has pushed all issues of primary importance to the backseat.
