Stamp paper scam: Vagal`s magisterial custody remand extended till Jan 31
Pune, Jan 19: Former joint commissioner of police Mumbai Sridhar Vagal, arrested in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, was today remanded to magisterial custody till January 31.

Vagal was produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class K P Shrikhande on expiry of his magisterial remand.
Vagal was arrested on November 7 in Mumbai by the Special Investigating Team (SIT) for his alleged complicity in the scam and his suspected links with the prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi.
