BSF jawan among three killed in Jammu
Jammu, Dec 18: Three persons, including a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, were killed in separate militancy-related incidents in Udhampur district of Jammu division where security forces have recovered some ammunition and explosives since yesterday, official sources said here today.

A BSF jawan, Kishore Kungar, was killed during an
encounter with ultras at Basa village in Mahore Tehsil of
Udhampur district yesterday, the sources said, adding that
militants fled from the spot after an hour-long gunbattle.
Security forces have launched search operation in the
area to track down the militants, they said.
One Nazir Ahmed of Chaklas village in Gool Tehsil of Udhampur district was beaten to death by militants during the intervening night of December 15 and 16, the sources said. His body was recovered by police from the outskirts of the village yesterday.
Police also recovered the body of an unidentified man from Roshawali forest area in Gool, they said, adding that the body has been kept in mortuary of a local hospital for identification.
