Agra, June 08: Hindu Jagran Manch and BJP youth wing activists disrupted a Christian religious meeting here alleging it was aimed at promoting conversions, officials said today. Youth BJP chief R P S Chauhan and HJM local president Gopal Singh Chauhan were among six persons arrested after the activists, waving saffron flags, forced their way to the dias, shouted slogans, threw stage property and clashed with police at St Johns College here late last night.

The meeting under the theme "Success in Life" was organised by a Chennai-based Christian religious group.

Reinforcements from the nearby Hariparbat police station were called to control the situation.

As panic prevailed police threw a cordon around the foreign delegates to the meeting and led them to safety.
