Islamabad, Aug 18: Pakistan has proposed holding talks with India next month to discuss the restoration of train services, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman Masood Khan said today. Pakistan would like to hold ``technical-level talks'' with India during the second half of September, Khan told reporters at a weekly news conference. He did not give a precise date.

Both sides have been working in recent months to improve relations.
A bus service between Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore and New Delhi was restarted on July 11.

They also restored full diplomatic ties and are discussing a resumption in air links.
