Japan grants $3.68 million to Nepal for road project
Kathmandu, July 12: Japan has agreed to provide a grant assistance of $3.683 million to Nepal for the Banepa-Sindjuli road project.

Banepa-Sindjuli road project.
Nepalese finance secretary Bhanu Prasad Acharya and Japanese ambassador to Nepal Zenji Kaminaga signed the
agreement yesterday.
The grant will be utilized to purchase products and services necessary for carrying out the repair of the road, its embankment and foothill protection, official reports said.
The assistance will also be utilized to repair 50 kms of the flood-damaged Banepa-Sindhuli Road.
