Militants struck at a remote village on Monday killing three members of a village defence committee in Ramban hills of Doda district, official sources said in Jammu. The militants in combat fatigue swooped on ladu village after cordoning it off, they said.

The ultras opened fire on members of the defence committee, killing three of them and wounding four others, the sources said adding the injured have been hospitalised.
An operation to track down the ultras has been launched.
In another incident, militants abducted two people, on their way home in kakora top area of rajouri district last night and later killed them, the sources said. Bureau Report
