Hubli, July 04: Congress workers in the city today burnt an effigy of Union Home Minister L K Advani protesting the 'step-motherly treatment' meted out to Karnataka by the Centre in releasing foodgrains to combat the drought situation in the state. The workers took out a procession and submitted a memorandum to the tehsildar, highlighting the drought situation, police said. Bureau Report
