Advani travels by train to Gwalior
Gwalior, June 25: It was the first domestic rail journey for L K Advani today since he became Deputy Prime Minister a year back.

Advani travelled by Shatabdi Express from New Delhi to
Gwalior to attend the meeting of the BJP central office
bearers to review preparations for the coming assembly
elections in five states.
During his recent visit to the US, Advani had travelled by train from New York to Washington.
In an informal chat with reporters, Advani said he had travelled by train at times as home minister and often earlier as BJP leader.
The Deputy Prime Minister said his wife, Kamala, felt uncomfortable travelling by air and so he had often travelled earlier by train.
BJP president Venkaiah Naidu and party leaders Pramod Mahajan, Uma Bharati and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also travelled by the same train for the meeting.
