Multan, Apr 01: After leading India to their first-ever Test win on Pakistani soil, captain Rahul Dravid today said his side would not be carried away by it and continue with the same intensity in the remainder of the series. "Of course we will be celebrating the win. But our feet will be firmly on the ground. The series is not over and Pakistan is a great side. We would be continuing in the same vein," Dravid said after India beat Pakistan by an innings and 52 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series.

Dravid was quite impressed with the all-round performance of the team and credited the players for giving their best in the win.
"It is a fantastic feeling to take the lead in the series. The players all gave their best to me in four days. I am proud to lead such a side." Virendra Sehwag`s 309 and Sachin Tendulkar`s 194 not out helped India pile on 675 for five in the first innings before Irfan Pathan and Anil Kumble shone with the ball as the side record the historic win. "Sehwag and Aakash Chopra did a great job in the beginning. They were fantastic in Australia and carried the form here. They laid the base for a big score," Dravid said.

"Sehwag`s fabulous innings, Tendulkar`s brilliance and a few useful contributions ensured that we post close to 700 runs in the first innings," Dravid said. Bureau Report
