New Delhi, Sept 02: Charging Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit with "criminal negligence" resulting in the withdrawal of allotment of land in 291 cases, Delhi BJP chief Madan Lal Khurana today demanded CBI inquiry into the matter and said Dikshit should resign on "moral" grounds. "I am going to meet Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani tomorrow and demand CBI inquiry into the matter," Khurana told reporters here.
"It may be termed as that of Mayawati's episode of Taj heritage corridor for which she first gave sanction and later backed out to save her skin," he said adding "Dikshit, during the last three-four years, first recommended the allotments in 291 cases and suddenly withdrawing all her recommendations lead towards many doubts that something is fishy somewhere."
Dikshit had yesterday asked chief secretary Shailaja Chandra to withdraw and re-evaluate the 'no objection certificates' given to NGOs who had been allotted land by DDA.
Khurana has also written to Delhi Governor Vijai Kapoor about reported fresh appointments by the health department.
Alleging that the Delhi government "was making plans to use government resources for political purposes" with elections drawing near, Khurana demanded a stop on these appointments". Bureau Report
