Bhopal, Oct 16: Ahead of VHP's Ayodhya rally, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has warned that no one would be allowed to make inflammatory speech though there is no ban on entry of anyone into the state. Singh said in a statement here last night that anybody indulging in delivering provocative and inflammatory speech would face strict action.
Condemning VHP leader Praveen Togadia's reported statement warning of communal riots, the chief minister said if Togadia spoke of spreading riots he would not be permitted to enter Madhya Pradesh. He said so far Togadia has been allowed to visit Madhya Pradesh but now he is talking of instigating riots, which is very serious.
"In this situation, we would have to consider whether he should be permitted to enter the state," Singh said and warned that "no one would be allowed to vitiate the climate of communal harmony and goodwill, be it Togadia or anyone else". The state government would strictly deal with anyone trying to create bitterness among the various communities by making inflammatory speech, Singh said. Bureau Report
