Ajmer, Aug 12: Amidst chanting of vedic mantras, about 50,000 devotees today took holy 'Purnima' bath at various ghats of Pushkar Lake, near here on the occassion of 'Raksha Bandhan'. The lake is full of water this year following good rainfall after several years of drought.


The devotees also visited Brahma Temple and other places of worship to offer prayers.

The famous Rangji Temple, star attraction for people from South India throughout the year, was specially decorated by artists from Mathura on this occassion.
